The Ocean Course

The best course in the Hilton Head area, according to many. I wouldn’t argue. A fantastic Rees Jones layout in a beautiful location on peaceful Daufuskie Island. There were a total of 35 rounds played on the day we visited. You basically have the course to yourself. The course actually has 20 holes, thanks to two additional par 3s, and with two separate sets of tees (Haig and Calibogue), you basically get two totally different courses. In addition there is a great 9-hole course, The Osprey, also designed by Rees Jones. Haig Point is private, but they offer Discovery Packages that include a round of golf. And who knows, maybe you’ll decide to buy a a second home or simply move to this little slice of paradise? Either way, it’s definitely worth a visit.
